Hi friends! If you are new here, Welcome! I am so glad you are visiting! Read more about me and this space by clicking here. I hope you enjoy this content and find adventure that is worth adopting! The year 2019 was a great time! It was the second year for Adopt Adventure Blog and marked the start of representing brands through partnerships! This was a new experience for me. I have learned alot and still have so much to learn! The highlight of the year was building good relationships with both PR professionals and the people that make up this community. Those of which I will cherish forever! Join the Instagram community here. I like to keep this space bright and light! If you are visiting again you know that. I am all about feeding the positive and starving the negative. The reason I do this is to spread love and happiness to anyone who visits AdoptAdventure.com and then they can take it with them when they leave! I never want anyone to feel depleted. However, today's topic might leave you feeling uneasy. I have this hope though that my voice will be a service for greater good. This topic has been on my heart all week. Perhaps because we are celebrating ones life and achievement for being an influential civil rights leader. The man who paved the way for political, social freedom and equality ; Martin Luther King Jr. At the start of this blog post I mentioned that my partnerships with brands started last year and with that came an eye opening realization. I started coming across brands and services who sometimes would refer to themselves as either, "LGBTQ friendly" or "LGBTQ un-friendly." First things first I apologize for not realizing that this was even a dilemma. Secondly, The Adopt Adventure Blog believes in accepting people for who they are as an individual and everything that coincides with that. If you are someone that is reading this and you disagree, that's okay. I feel it in my heart to put the word out there that I love everyone just the same. Happy MLK Day! What do these achievements mean to you in the year 2020?

Yes!! So agree with this. The base for any company’s foundation should be connecting and loving ALL humans, not just “some humans”—and the mark of a good leader is someone who stands firm in their beliefs, without shoving them down other’s throats or having to convince others to believe what they believe. Share your story, share your beliefs, but love & celebrate everyone for who they are which is a beautifully made human ❤️
